Results of the year 2006.
Discussion of advisory board Our advisory board summarized the work of our foundation in 2006 and at the same time indicated tasks of the new year of 2007. György Kugel, a member of the advisory board reported about the financial situation of the Foundation, the results of competitions, reconstruction works of the cemetery and last but not least about renewal of our home page. Main tasks of the year 2007 certainly haven’t changed, we continue renewal of the cemetery and in this year we surely will organize cultural programs, too. We will buy a lawnmower (to cut grass and hedge) necessary for maintenance of the cemetery and will continue searching of Jewish mementos and relics of Monor. |

Our home page renewed! We are pleased that our home page could be renewed with the help of Magyarországi Zsidó Örökség Alapítvány (Foundation of Jewish Heritage of Hungary) Appearance has changed but the essential change concerns the administration modul. Editing became easier, input of photos and links are simpler. Key words – which are necessary to optimize searching – can be divided page by page. We thank for the high quality and fast work of the team of Netpeople.hu ! |

Autumn tidying of cemeteryAccording to our plans contrary to the unpleasant weather we have managed to carry out the big tidying of cemetery.
The heaviest work was to cut and carry away young shoots of the trees that had been cut in the past period. Thanks to our helpful friends, members of our advisory board and their families the cemetery is clean now and care is seen all around.
We hope further work will lead to the picture of cemetery we planned to create.
Thanks for help and persistence of Brigitta Burján, Debóra Fekete, Mária Fekete, István Fekete and József Zsíros.
