We have received our first donation!

The TORONTO JEWS ASSOCIATION OF HUNGARIAN DESCENT contributed with $500 to the work our Foundation. We are grateful for their support and will use this amount in accordance with our aims

Board meetings

We held a board meeting covering the following topics:

• Publishing our Homepage
• Distribution of our Founding Document
• Placing an advertisement in Új Élet (Hungarian Jewish Newspaper)
• Planting trees possibly in the Autumn Seeking opportunities for applications

Restoration

We had the gravestone of Dr László Miklós (the name-father of our Foundation) restored. We thank stone-cutter Péter Kiss for his contribution.

We have a fence!

A longtime goal has been completed by having a fence put up around our cemetery. The local Public Works Plc. provided the posts

Cleaning up

Several gravestones have been desecrated in our cemetery. The perpetrator is still unknown. It is sad that something like this is allowed to happen today. We are thankful to stone-cutter Péter Kiss for his help in cleaning up the stones.
